The look of the ring has a vintage feel which matched the customers existing jewellery style.

The collet was then mounted into the shank to complete the ring. This piece will now be worn with delight and the ring design shows off the fantastic quality of the stone.

Each part was made by hand using the customers gold, including the bespoke bale set with a small diamond to accent the piece.

These two wedding bands were brought into us as plain bands. As a special ruby anniversary present the couple had both of their existing wedding bands set with rubies. They picked out their stones from our supply of loose stones, which were then set into gold collets to match their rings.
This engagement ring initially had a different collet which was unfortunately impractical for the customer. The collet of a ring is the part that holds the stone. They can come in an array of different sizes, shapes and styles whether claw set or rub-over. After discussing the options with our jeweller it was decided to remove the stone from the existing collet and create this new collet which would be more practical for everyday wear. The collet also features a slot cut out on the back for a straight wedding band to go underneath.
