Jewellery with
a story, made
by hand.
A family-run workshop, over fifty years at the bench. We take bespoke commissions, repair at our own bench, and keep a small collection of contemporary and pre-loved pieces.

It began in 1975 in Diss, Norfolk. One bench, and the belief that a piece of jewellery should outlast the hands that made it. Fifty years on, the family still works side by side. Nothing leaves the workshop until it’s good enough to give to one of our own. Today we serve Diss, Eye, Harleston, the villages between, and the stretch of border where Norfolk meets Suffolk.
We cast and finish every piece at our own bench. The gold is recycled, sourced from UK refiners. If you’re remodelling, we can melt down your own gold and use it in the new design. Stones are sourced with the same care, and sometimes reset straight from jewellery your family already owns.
We still finish every piece by hand. It’s slower. It also means your jewellery carries a character a machine wouldn’t choose.
The collection
Some stories deserve
their own piece.
(01)
The consultation
Tea at the bench. Bring photographs, heirlooms, half-formed ideas, and we talk through metal, stones and budget.
Week 1
(02)
Your design, illustrated
Yvonne draws your piece by hand, so you see it before it exists. We carve a wax to try where the design calls for one.
Weeks 2–3
(03)
Presented & quoted
We show you the drawings and give an honest quote. Change anything until it’s right, then a 30% deposit secures the work.
Week 4
(04)
The making
We make it by hand in recycled gold or platinum, set the stones, and hallmark it at the Birmingham Assay Office.
Weeks 5–11
(05)
The reveal
You collect it at the bench, boxed with a photograph and a written description. A yearly service keeps it bright.
Week 12
“The piece is finished when you can’t imagine it any other way.”
